Union Public Service Commission announces Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2016 on 16.07.2016 (Including SSC Women (Non-Technical Course)

The following are the details of the examination:

How to Apply for Examination?

Eligible candidates are requested to apply online in the UPSC Website. Instructions for applying online are available in the website itself.

 

Eligibility of Candidates

Candidates must ensure themselves for the eligibility of their participation. Admission certificate for Examination does not authenticate the eligibility. Verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents will be taken up only after the candidate has qualified for interview/Personality Test

Last Date for Online Application

The Online Applications can be filled up to 12.08.2016 11.59 PM only.

 

e-Admit Card

e-Admit Card will be issued by the Commission for the candidates 3 weeks before the commencement of examination through email provided by the Candidates during the process of online application. The e-Admit Card will be available for downloading to the candidates in the UPSC Website only.

 

Examination and Marks

  • When it is an objective type question paper, there will be negative (minus) marks for wrong answers
  • Omission / Mistake / Discrepancy in encoding/filling of details in the OMR Answer Sheet w.r.t Roll Number and Test Booklet Series code will lead to rejection of Answer Sheet
  • Use Black Ball Pen only
  • Read Carefully the Special Instructions provided in the Appendix III
  • Mobile Phones / Pagers / Bluetooth Devices or any Communication devices are not allowed inside the premises of Examination Hall. Infringements will lead to disciplinary action including ban for future examinations
